Someone asked me, "why do you say photography for PEOPLE and dancers? Aren't dancers people?" I replied, "you are EXACTLY right! Dancers ARE people! They are human!"

You can say that dancers are people who express themselves through a certain method. I believe that the very essence of dance is expression through movement. I also believe that it comes from somewhere deep inside before ever reaching the body. The heart beats, the mind wanders, and the soul stirs.. Underneath the very fabric of expression itself lies human emotion. We go through the entire spectrum of these feelings in our lives. Be it joy or sadness, or even those tiny tiny and subtle feelings which we needn't even place a name to. Before the foot stretches, before a single step is taken this happens.

I like to create a space for people to be alive and in the moment. For people to be honest, safe, and free. I believe that this is essential. Together we create and celebrate beauty... together we share our humanity.
